Beverley Foulks PhotoBeverley Foulks has a M.Div. from Harvard Divinity School and a Ph.D. in Chinese Buddhism from Harvard University. As a comparative scholar of religion, she is particularly interested in repentance, theodicy, suffering, and evil, and her current project examines different ways Buddhists try to change their karma through their religious practice. She is currently an assistant professor of East Asian Religions at the University of North Carolina – Wilmington.
